Grove Cottage is delighted to share some wonderful news with the local community. We now have the keys to our new building at 151 London Road.
This exciting milestone comes as we approach a very special moment in our history, with March 2026 marking 60 years of Grove Cottage supporting local children, adults and their families.
With the keys now in hand, preparations are underway for our Nursery to reopen on Monday 2nd March. The Nursery will be the first of our services to open at 151 London Road, with our other clubs and activities gradually reopening in the new building over the coming months.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming our members into our modern, safe and fully accessible space designed to support them for many years to come.
Reaching this point has only been possible thanks to the continued support of our families, staff, trustees, volunteers and the wider community. Their belief, generosity and encouragement have carried us through every stage of this journey.
As Grove Cottage prepares to celebrate its 60th year, the charity is also keen to reconnect with the many people who have helped shape its story over the decades. Anyone who has worked with Grove Cottage, volunteered, supported the charity, or been part of the Grove Cottage community in any way is warmly invited to get in touch.
The team is keen to hear memories from past and present members of the Grove Cottage community as part of marking this significant anniversary and celebrating the people who have made Grove Cottage what it is today.
