Performing Arts Club
Our Performing Arts Club is open to people with learning disabilities aged 18 and over. The club meets every Monday evening from 6pm–7.30pm at Grove Cottage.
The aim of our Performing Arts Club is to give our members the opportunity to meet and make friends with like-minded people, to learn new skills and have fun.
Members enjoy singing, dancing and acting every week and are given the opportunity to perform in public at the Bishop’s Stortford Carnival, our bi-annual ball, at the start of many fundraising events.
Our Performing Arts club helps our members to have:
Increased confidence
Improved potential
Increased social interaction
Improved physical and emotional wellbeing.
Our Performing Arts Club meets 46 weeks a year and costs £10 per session. Payment can be made by termly invoice, by card on the door or we accept cash.
