Speech & Language Therapy
Our Speech and Language Therapy programme is for individuals with a learning disability and is available to Grove Cottage members from the age of two and a half.
Our Speech and Language Therapy programme aids individuals with learning disabilities, to assist them with their communication and to help them be better understood
This results in:
- Increased engagement and interaction with other people
- Improved behaviour
- A higher capacity for learning.
Our Speech and Language Therapists and Assistants develop tailor-made programmes for each member embarking on our Speech and Language Therapy programme. Hourly sessions take place once a week term time only and each individual’s programme is reviewed once per term
Our Speech and Language Therapy programme is often provided alongside our Special Needs Nursery provision, enabling the children to get the most from their early years’ education.
