Grove Cottage Launches Summer Colouring Competition

Grove Cottage Launches Summer Colouring Competition

Grove Cottage is delighted to launch our summer holiday colouring competition. We invite local children to imagine and illustrate the exterior of our new building. This competition is part of our “A Better Building for a Brighter Future” initiative, aimed at supporting our efforts to rebuild and modernise our premises on London Road.

Hertfordshire-born children’s book illustrator, Aysha Awwad, will select the best designs. Winners will receive copies of her illustrated books, including ‘We Went To Find A Woolly Mammoth’ by Catherine Cawthorne, ‘Where Has All the Cake Gone?’, ‘Whose Dog Is This?’ by Andrew Sanders, and ‘Worry Boots!’ by Lisa Thompson. All entries will be showcased on the Bishop’s Storford Independent website, and the winning designs will be featured in the newspaper at the beginning of September.

To participate, download the competition entry form and email your completed colouring to fundraising@mencapgrovecottage.org by 31st August 2024.  We are asking for a suggested donation of £1 to enter, thank you!
