Important Message to all Members, Families and Carers
The Trustees of Grove Cottage met last night following the Government’s announcement yesterday regarding Covid-19 (coronavirus). Given their advice, and particularly noting the vulnerability of our members, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all of Grove Cottage’s activities (Nursery, Clubs, Grove Cottage @Thirst Café, Speech & Language Therapy and planned events) with immediate effect.
We will continue to monitor the situation and follow Government and NHS advice, but based on the most recent announcements we anticipate that activities will be suspended for a minimum of 12 weeks.
As Trustees our priority is to protect all members, staff and volunteers. We are equally determined to recommence our activities as soon as it is safe to do so. These are going to be challenging times for all of us and we know we can rely on your ongoing support of the charity.
We will continue to update you via regular communications and social media – please refer to our website in the first instance. We will be back and hope to see you all soon.
We recognise that these are unprecedented and worrying times. Grove Cottage is a special place, with an amazing team and we know how important it is to you – our members and their families. You and your families are all in our thoughts at this time.
