Grove Cottage Awarded £20,000 Grant from Postcode Places Trust
Grove Cottage is delighted to announce that it has received £20,000 from Postcode Places Trust to support its charitable initiatives. This incredible funding will support the core costs of the charity, enabling Grove Cottage to deliver vital clubs and services to their members of all ages with learning disabilities and specialised additional needs.
The grant, made possible by funds raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, will support Grove Cottage’s efforts to help people of all ages with learning disabilities and specialised additional needs. It will provide educational and social activities in an accessible environment, allowing members to celebrate their achievements and lead fulfilled lives.
“We are incredibly grateful to Postcode Lottery players for their generous support.” said Grove Cottage’s Trusts & Major Gifts Fundraiser, Amy Atkinson “During a cost-of-living crisis a grant of this size gives our charity stability and enables us to continue providing our vital clubs and services which support so many families in Hertfordshire and Essex. Together we are making such a positive difference to the lives of those who need it most.”
Laura Chow, Head of Charities at People’s Postcode Lottery, said: “I’m delighted money raised by our players is supporting Grove Cottage to be able to continue working towards a world in which every individual with a learning disability has the opportunity to learn, develop and fully integrate into society.”
With this fund, Grove Cottage will be able to continue working toward its vision of a world in which every individual with a learning disability has the opportunity to learn, develop, integrate into society and exercise choices, and where families can enjoy a regular family life.
